Solo Exhibition by Spencer Stander

Spencer Stander is a sculptural fine artist, specializing in original game design and fabrication, with use of his painterly ‘faux-Impasto’ technique. His work effectively bridges the gap between function and fine art, creating his own special niche in the art world. Stander’s games range in size and can facilitate play for up to 50 people. His exciting developments have led him to hosting various pop-up exhibitions and game nights across Los Angeles, as he continues to attract the attention of collectors and gallerists.

Stander’s exhibition will open with a reception on Saturday, August 25th from 7-10pm at Contemporary Gallery in DTLA (548 S.
