“We all need a connection to nature; somewhere we can find peace and joy. My goal is to evoke these feelings in people through my art. I want to create artwork that brightens people’s lives, lifts their mood and adds colour to their world.”

Join us on Tuesday, June 21 to see “Bursting into Life,” an exhibition of acclaimed artist, Sue Paterson, at the legendary Montalban Theatre. Known for her vibrant palette and kaleidoscopic vision, Paterson is having her first show in the United States where she will be exhibiting her large-scale collection.

A bit about the The Montalban: Built in the 1920’s the Montalban started as Wilke’s Vine Street Theatre. Since then it has lived as a cinema called The Mirror, Studio Theatre, CBS Radio Playhouse and James A. Doolittle Theatre, housing the shows and performances of Hollywood legends. As The Ricardo Montalban Theatre it has hosted many classic and prestige films and festivals, and has transformed its roof into one of the best outdoor screening locations in Los Angeles. We are pleased to announce the very first art exhibition at The Montalban, Sue Paterson’s “Bursting Into Life.”

New Zealand born, Australia based Paterson, hones in on her surroundings as her pieces take form of wild landscapes, striking blooms and surreal “trees of life.” After many past exhibitions in Australia, Paterson is sharing her botanical, nature-inspired artwork here in Los Angeles.

As another event co-hosted by PR for Artists, we are excited to bring together unique and appreciated members of the fine art world. We work with collectors, galleries and artists, and we invite you to be a part of our expanding network.

The exhibition called “Bursting into life” is open daily in the Mezzanine Gallery at the Montalban Theatre until June 21. Please join us for the reception on:

Tuesday, June 21  7:00pm -10pm
Wine & Hors D’oeuvres will be served.
