From June 9th to June 16th, 2017, New England/Cape Cod artist, Steve Lyons will be having a solo exhibition titled Finding Home. Aimed at raising awareness of the refugee crisis, the exhibition will feature original paintings, multi-media visuals (painted photography and prints) and an audio installation booth that brings the refugee crisis front and center to the viewer’s visual and aural senses.

Molly Gallagher, who has devoted her time to studying the refugee camps in Jordan, will be speaking at the exhibition. Influential to say the least, she will speak on topics such as the ways in which Syrian refugees are recovering a sense of possibility, purpose and identity through art and creation and the refugee experience of losing their homeland.
