About the Artist

Richard Lee Smith Jr. is a painter of gaudily-colored, Marc-expressionist shapes with an undercurrent of spiritual commentary and personal growth. Born in 1975 in Dallas, Texas, Smith moved west where in 1997, he received his BFA at the San Francisco Art Institute in California. Richard Lee Smith Jr. now lives and works as a full-time fine artist in Los Angeles. His recent exhibitions include one-man shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Dallas, with both an upcoming group and solo exhibition this May, 2017.

Richard’s photographs are one of ones. Printed and mounted with archival fine art paper and materials with museum glass and vintage one of a kind frames.
