About Joey Feldman

Joey Feldman is a mixed-media artist, whose abstract expressionist work seeks to capture a sense of visceral urgency and gonzo-like subjectivity.

After a string of odd jobs, including working at Tower Records as a display artist, Feldman’s earlier career began as a cartoonist and illustrator. In 1994, his most well-known commission was to draw a portrait of O.J. Simpson upon the verdict of the infamous trial. Feldman went on to create work for advertising agencies, design firms, brands, films, magazines, bands, and record labels.

In 2016, Feldman was commissioned to create promotional materials for Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field, which resulted in Feldman’s recurring plague doctor motif. Since then, Feldman has developed a signature style in his fine art practice that revels in chaos, accident, and blurring the line between two-dimensional and three-dimensional art.

He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
