Los Angeles-based artist, Gena Milanesi’s solo exhibition, January 12th 2017. From 8 to 11pm, come experience a blend of what we all love most: fine art, sports and music. As her first solo exhibition, Milanesi will showcase her work at Tower Records on Sunset Blvd, complete with her mesmerizing paintings and a video installation of the artist at work with her collaborative stars. The artist is best known for her unique method of painting– enabling celebrated athletes to help out, kicking or throwing sports balls onto the canvas. In partnership with Gibson, this exciting, vibrant event will highlight Milanesi’s latest collaboration with American soccer player, Landon Donovan and LA Clippers’ Chris Paul. Milanesi will also exhibit her work in partnership with Gibson. Pieces include portraits of notable musicians and ‘carefully replicated Gibson guitars.
