Echoes, an exhibition featuring the work of Ni Li, from February 4th to February 28th at Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts

Please join us on February 18th for the Artist Reception of Echoes, a group exhibition featuring the work of contemporary calligraphy artist, Ni Li.

Mastering pivotal juxtapositions, Ni Li’s work pairs movement with still stories, primeval atop of modern, and a displays a fresh union of East and West. Recently part of the LA Art Show, Ni Li has been recognized for her skill with calligraphy and the message of her work, conveyed through contemporary pieces. With the use of ink on female form, watercolor paper, giclée images and ancient chinese text, Ni Li is shining an entirely fresh, visionary light on this culturally honored technique.

At the root of Li’s work is a drive to bring contemporary culture and new life to the art of calligraphy. And now, at Los Angeles’ renowned Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts, Li will be showing her work alongside Cheryl I. Hrudka, Stan Johnson and LOLA Arthouse from February 4th to February 28th, 2017. On Thursday, February 9th, Echoes will be on exhibition at the Downtown Art Walk in Downtown Los Angeles. All are welcome to join.
